South Africa

In 2009 we had a wonderful trip to South Africa. We spent almost 4 weeks travelling around Kruger National park and some of its neighbouring private reserves, through Swaziland and down to MKhuze and KwaZulu-Natal.

Every day we experienced a great variety of wildlife. While I was impressed by our sightings of the ‘big 5′ I was continually blown away by the small stuff. The insects and the birds are a source of at least as much wonderment to me as the big predators.
